WMGA EXHIBITIONS – BIRD REGISTRATION
EXHIBITORS
• When you do not need to register with Defra /Apha
-
if your birds are both fully housed in a dwelling (your home or another indoor structure) with no access to the open air.
• When you do need to register
-
if you take your birds outdoors at any time – for example, to exercise or train them, or to take them to bird gatherings or shows.
BIRD EXHIBITION ORGANISER: obligations & requirements.
It will be the responsibility of the organisers of any bird gathering to ensure that entrants to that gathering have an official authorised registration number.
If the entrant cannot supply that number their entry must be declined.
If an inspection of the event by a government official takes place and it is found that entrants do not have a registration number, then the
organisers will be liable to prosecution, heavy fines.
ALL GLOSTER CANARY EXHIBITORS who want to exhibit at WMGA events, must have a Government Customer registration number. NO REGISTRATION NUMBER NO ENTRY.
